Pilotage - 2021/22

Charge levied to all piloted movements, both in and out of Sydney Harbour. It is compulsory for all commercial vessels, unless exempted by section 75 of the Marine Safety Act 1998 Rate per Movement = [Boarding Fee + Rate per Vessel's Gross Tonnage on a Tier basis] Sydney Harbour's Pilotage Charges

Site Occupation - 2021/22

Fee levied for the use of Sydney Harbour's common user, lease and passenger berths. The fee applies to vessels occupying all or part of a berth, discharging/debarking and loading/embarking cargoes or passengers, or for any other planned and approved activity at the berth (i.e. planned maintenance). Site Occupation for general cargo and other approved vessel activities at berth are charge on an hourly basis, whereas Site Occupation for Passenger Vessels is charged on a per passenger fee Non-Passenger Vessels: Hourly Rate x Hours At Berth Sydney Harbour's Site Occupation for Non-Passengers Vessels
