Public Parking at OPT:
Non-cruise ship days only
Paid public parking is only available at the OPT on non-cruise days. There is no public parking available when a ship is in port as it is reserved for use by providores and service providers to the cruise lines.
Please check the cruise schedule for details about when a ship is in port, noting that changes to published times can occur. All users of this car park must comply with our Terms and Conditions.
The car park is only open between 5am and 1am on non-cruise days, when there are no ships at the Overseas Passenger Terminal.

Tap-n-Go payment facilities are available at the boom gates when exiting the car park. Mastercard, Visa and Mobile phone payments are accepted. AMEX and cash payments are not currently supported.
No. As the car park operates on number plate recognition technology, no receipts are printed. However, the details and cost of your parking will come up on the digital screens at the exit and you can take a photo of the receipt for your records.

Parking is only available on non-cruise days until 1am. The car park will be closed on cruise ship days. Signage is also available at the car park entry to advise when the car park is open or closed.
No. Parking is only available on a first come, first served basis.
Yes. License Plate Recognition (LPR) is software that reads and recognises vehicle registration license plates. It allows a touchless, parking experience as your license plate is recognised at the entry and exit.
A staff member from the control centre is available for assistance 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Press the intercom at the entry or exit gates to speak to the control centre.

Cars left in the car park after closing time will be towed at the owner’s expense. This is to ensure that the area is clear for operations on cruise days.

Cars will be towed to White Bay at the owner’s expense and stored there until they are picked up.
