Our cruise operations teams facilitate the arrival and departure of some of the biggest cruise ships and the 1.3 million passengers that travel through our two Sydney cruise terminals each year.
With Sydney being one the world’s premium cruise destinations, teams get to work across the Overseas Passenger Terminal at the world-famous Circular Quay and at White Bay Cruise Terminal in Balmain to liaise with cruise line customers, cruise ship crews and manage external contractors who assist passengers as they take the trip of a lifetime.

- Duty manager, cruise operations
Our duty managers, cruise operations are the front-line link between our terminals, the cruise lines and cruise terminal stakeholders. They work collaboratively with our cruise line customers, manage the relationships with our external contractors and oversee the systems that help us efficiently process thousands of passengers per ship. As well as, work to ensure the safety and security of the terminal and its precinct, along with the passengers and public who occupy them.

- Terminal security
Our cruise terminals and passengers are kept safe and secure by our terminal security teams, who are contracted externally to TechGuard Security.
- Baggage handling
The baggage handling teams help transfer passenger's luggage on ship days. They are contracted externally through the cruise lines.
The stevedoring teams help load cruise ships with baggage and the supplies they need for their time out at sea and are contracted externally through the cruise lines.
- Passenger processing
Our passenger processing and terminal teams help passengers through the terminals and the check in process and onto the cruise ships. They are contracted externally through the cruise lines.
