As part of the Noise Mitigation Strategy and Port Noise Policy, Port Authority continues to work on reducing noise associated with cruise ships at White Bay Cruise Terminal and White Bay Berth 4, as well as bulk and commercial shipping at Glebe Island and White Bay.
Port Authority continuously monitors noise levels at Glebe Island and White Bay to guide ongoing noise management.

Note: No cruise ship noise monitoring was conducted between April 2020 and March 2022 due to the COVID-19 cruise ship ban.
