Port of first entry

Department of Agriculture and Water's classification of Port of Yamba as a port of first entry for overseas vessels was reviewed in June 2019.

Please contact the Department of Agriculture and Water for their requirements. Recreational vessels must make a first port of entry at an alternate such as Coffs Harbour or Brisbane.

    Marine safety licences such as Certificate of Local Knowledge and Pilotage Exemption Certificates may be issued by Port Authority for use in vessels subject to pilotage.
