Port of Yamba pilotage and navigation

Port of Yamba has responsibility under legislation to control the conditions under which dangerous and hazardous goods are handled or kept in defined port operational areas

Pilotage is compulsory for all vessels 30m and over in length, unless exempted under section 75 of the Marine Safety Act 1998

A Passage plan is provided to assist ship's personnel planning a pilotage passage to the berth or anchorage prior to the arrival of the Pilot and the Master/Pilot Information Exchange
