For the first time ever, Port Authority of NSW is bringing the magic of Christmas to Overseas Passenger Terminal with an immersive Santa experience overlooking the iconic Sydney Opera House.
Available until 21 December, Port Authority has partnered with Best Santa Photos to offer an interactive Christmas event filled with festive cheer for family, friends and four-legged besties alike, including photos with Santa, Christmas craft activities, face painting, meet and greets with your favourite Christmas characters, and a lucky dip gift.
Port Authority of NSW Chief Customer and Commercial Officer John McKenna said the opportunity to capture your annual Santa photo in one of Sydney’s most iconic locations was set to be a Christmas hit for locals and cruising visitors alike.
“Nothing says Christmas in Sydney like a photo with Santa in front of the best views in the city. We have a truly unique setting for your Christmas photos, combining the stunning views of the Sydney Opera House with a vibrant cruise terminal atmosphere,” said Mr McKenna.
“We are thrilled to offer a fun, family-friendly experience for the local community this Christmas, and it’s perfect for cruise lovers and those looking to create an iconic Sydney Christmas.”
Santa photography sessions are set on the level three balcony of Overseas Passenger Terminal. Sessions are available from 9am-2pm and 4pm-9pm on non-cruise days and between 4:30pm-9pm on cruise ship days. Customers will receive all digital high-resolution photos taken during the session, as well as a print pack of their favourite photo.
