Overseas Passenger Terminal - a feature for Vivid Sydney

For the first time, the Overseas Passenger Terminal at Circular Quay will be lighting up as part of VIVID Sydney 2017.

The Overseas Passenger Terminal is forming part of VIVID’s official ‘light walk’ and a focus of the 23 day VIVID Sydney program.

There are six installations on Port Authority land and within the OPT, and another six installations are located adjacent to the OPT.

Port Authority is sponsoring two installations – 'Always Coming, Always Going', an interactive art installation on the ceiling of the arrivals hall of the OPT and 'The Harbour Watchman' located in the OPT northern forecourt where there is a giant skull and hologram that changes colour in response to sound waves.

In excess of 150,000 people visited the OPT on the opening weekend of Vivid raising expectations for a record-breaking event.

VIVID is running from 26 May – 17 June. Visit the official website for more information about this year's VIVID Sydney.
