Port of Eden, the southernmost deep-water harbour in NSW, supports key industries including fishing, forestry, and tourism. Serving the region’s import and export needs, it is home to one of NSW’s largest fishing fleets and acts as a gateway for tourism along the southern NSW coast.

Each year, around 100 commercial vessels, including a growing number of cruise ships, visit Port of Eden’s three wharves:

  • A privately owned woodchip terminal
  • The multi-use Royal Australian Navy wharf
  • The Eden Cruise Wharf.

The cruise industry complements the Sapphire Coast’s existing visitor market of approximately one million visitors annually.

  • Eden Cruise Wharf is located at Weecoon St, Eden NSW.

  • Eden is renowned for its delicious seafood, stunning coastline and the local Whale Festival.

The Eden Welcome Centre, located on the old fisherman’s co-op site at the Port of Eden, was built in April 2021 and will facilitate the movement of over 100,000 cruise passengers to the local region each year.

For more information, see Visit Eden or the Eden Visitor Information Centre, located in the Eden Welcome Centre at Weecoon Street, Snug Cove.
