Port Authority has developed the Bays Port Plan which sets out a holistic long-term land and water use strategy for the Bays Port (White Bay and Glebe Island).

The Plan documents Port Authority’s long-term vision for a future Bays Port that optimises port and working harbour operations whilst supporting the broader urban renewal aspirations outlined in the Bays West Place Strategy.

The Plan demonstrates ways that Bays Port can become a better connected and more vibrant and sustainable place.

Government is currently reviewing future land uses for the Bays West Precinct. Port Authority hopes to release the Bays Port Plan when this process has concluded.

Port Authority completed this project in 2024.
